I have spent much of my non-yoga career listening to and telling stories. I have always been curious and ask a lot of questions. I lived in England a while and then traveled around the world for two years before embarking on a career at CNN. I worked as a reporter and producer/editor for public radio, on visual and audio storytelling projects for the YMCA, NEAF, public and private companies, have done voiceover work, among other things. I love to cook and eat and share that experience with others, especially from different cultures. I have tried my hand at pottery, I love learning about the people with whom we share this planet. I love my parents and the way they taught me to be thoughtful and compassionate person.
I don't like to label myself one thing or another, but I hope to be al life-long learner and positive contributor to the world we live in.
I try to live as a good person and yoga philosophy guides much of that. If you really want to see my resume - you can find it at www.smittleman.wordpress.com.
Or just give a shout and we can have lunch or a good natter.
